Structure of the Earth Comic

We were learning about the Structure of the Earth and we could create a comic or a slide and I almost finished  my comic. My favourite part was showing you the 4 layers of the Earth and my least favourite part was not talking to you enough about the crust and the Mantle and the outer core and the inner core you the parts of the Earth.  The best part was putting the world back together. I wasted my learning time taking to my mate and fiddling around with my mate and not doing my work.

Structure of the Earth Facts

We are learning about the structure of the Earth.

I learnt that the Earth is made up of 4 layers. They are:

Facts about each layer:

Crust - The crust it the top of the mantle and under the mantle is the Outer core and the inner core. We are standing on the crust.

Mantle - The Mantle is boiling hot and the rocks are melted ,so it is soft and squishy.

Outer Core - The Outer core is 4-6000 degrees Celcius, even hotter than the sun.

Inner Core - The inner core is the hottest place and is below the outer core. It is solid because of the pressure from the outer layers surrounding it.

Our group -  

First we created a 3D image of the earth using clay.

We then cut the shape in half to show the different layers. After waiting for it to dry, we identified each layer by painting them in different colours.
